Who Stole My Lovesick Heroine Script?

[Bonus extra is out. Subscription rate: 80%. A new novel is now open for preorders in my author column.] After an unexpected awakening, Yun Tingxia learned that she was the love-struck, vicious supporting female character in a harem novel. On the surface, the character she played was kind and considerate. In reality, she was vain and selfish. After taking credit for the heroine's work one day, she got involved with one of the male leads. Though her intentions were impure, she still fell hopelessly in love with Xu Xingmiao, who was destined to become one of the heroine's harem members. She kept pursuing him, hoping to start a less-than-innocent romance with him. Even after the heroine exposed her true nature in front of everyone, she shamelessly clung to Xu Xingmiao, ultimately ending up with a miserable fate: spending the rest of her life bedridden. Having just absorbed the plot, Yun Tingxia was full of questions. ...Was this foolish love-struck girl really me? But it was too late for confusion or regret. The iconic scene where the heroine and a male supporting character exposed the villainess for taking credit had already happened in front of Xu Xingmiao not long ago. Damn it, if only she'd gotten the plot sooner... Yun Tingxia rubbed her face, feeling conflicted, and decided to make one final effort for the rest of her life. So she blocked every way Xu Xingmiao could contact her. From then on, she arrived just in time for class and fled the classroom as soon as it ended. She even quit her part-time job, all to stay away from the male and female leads, and from the miserable future awaiting her. But one damp, rainy night soon after, the person she'd blocked suddenly appeared downstairs from her home. “Why did you block me and go out of your way to avoid me? Did I do something wrong and make you angry?” Xu Xingmiao sniffed, fixing his damp, glistening eyes on her as he asked, hurt and hesitant. “I can change anything. Please don't ignore me.” Yun Tingxia: ... Wait, this is nothing like the plot I read! Even when people said Yun Tingxia was only interested in him because he was dumb and rich, Xu Xingmiao didn't care at all. Plenty of people had come around because of his money. She was hardly the only one. But there are so many rich people out there. Why does she only pay attention to me? Obviously, it's because she only likes me! Other people don't even get the chance to spend money on her. He's the only one with an official place in her life, the only one who can spend money on her with every right to do so! Besides, she's admitted herself that she likes his face and figure! If she likes it, he's willing to give her anything she wants~ Reader's Guide: * One-on-one romance, both leads' first time and only partners * The heroine is not a strong female lead or a truly kind and perfect person. She has a less-than-pleasant personality. Readers with high moral standards for the heroine, please proceed with caution (emphasis added). * The male lead is a dumb, rich, love-struck guy who likes using emoticons when chatting with the heroine. He takes care of his looks and physique (only his own), wears cologne and accessories (if that's a dealbreaker, proceed with caution). * A return-to-writing story, just an ordinary sweet little romance with everyday slice-of-life scenes. It's low-key and uneventful, and may be a slow burn. It's an uncomplicated, fluffy read with no deeper meaning. I recommend subscribing one chapter at a time. This is a straight romance, a straight romance, a straight romance. * My writing skills are limited. If this frustrates or bores you, all I can say is I'm sorry (drops to knees). * Everyone has different tastes. Even if this story isn't for you, please don't insult readers who like it. Thank you. Saved on 2023.5.7 * Coming soon: The Quiet Transfer Student. Blurb: In her second year of high school, Shi Miaoyan's class got a new transfer student. He was handsome, an excellent student, and always followed the rules, the kind of good student the homeroom teacher could trust without a second thought. He just wasn't very sociable. When classmates went out of their way to be friendly, he would meet them with a cold expression and as few words as possible, barely even offering the most basic courtesies. Gradually, the other students stopped trying to be friendly, and the transfer student managed to isolate the entire class all by himself. At the time, Shi Miaoyan sat nearly half a classroom away from the human icicle of a transfer student. Naturally, she assumed they would never have anything to do with each other. Until one day, their homeroom teacher rearranged the seats at random, and Shi Miaoyan became deskmates with the aloof transfer student. Later, Shi Miaoyan learned that the transfer student had a congenital speech disorder. He couldn't speak fluently like an ordinary person. Even when he managed to string a sentence together, he stuttered, so to avoid embarrassing himself in front of others, he could only force out a few words at a time and ended up seeming aloof. Later still, One evening, in the quiet, empty classroom after school, the transfer student cried silently, his hand trembling as he wrote on her sticky note: [I wish I could speak normally. I wish I were a normal person.] When Shi Miaoyan asked why he had suddenly said that, he turned to her, his misty, tear-filled eyes holding a hurt and bitterness she couldn't quite make out. Until then, whenever he wanted to say something at length and maintain a dignified image in front of Shi Miaoyan, he would write it down instead. But that day, for the first time, he opened his mouth and struggled to speak, haltingly and awkwardly: “Someone like me, who can't even speak properly, liking you...” Choking on his tears, he felt a deep, piercing shame and inferiority about his physical impairment for the first time. “I'm afraid people will laugh at you because of me.” “I'm afraid you'll think it's embarrassing to be liked by me.” “I...” “I really like you so much.” Premise: The ordinary, peaceful things in life are what matter most.
