Falling Leaves

Every autumn, Shujing gets especially worried: the hair (leaves) he treasures is going to fall out again.

Born in spring and fallen in autumn: that's the law of nature.

All Shujing can do is try his best to make the leaves fall a little later.

So he befriends Ye Zhiqiu, who controls the autumn winds, and pulls some strings to get him to wait until late autumn before blowing the wind his way.

In Shujing's dreams, everyone dies, and yet Ye Zhiqiu wants to enter his dreams.

Ye Zhiqiu thinks to himself: If I appear in his dream, he'll fall in love with me.

Shujing: If you appear in my dream, you're dead.

P.S. August isn't persimmon season. Let's just say it's an author-created setting.
