Chronicles of Survival in Troubled Times

[An alternate-world age of chaos that is a little unscientific. The heroine focuses on her career. Lighthearted, and not especially realistic! Written for my own amusement and that of friends and family!]

On the continent of Jiuzhou, the five kingdoms of Sheng, Hang, Shi, Quan, and Jing stand opposed. Each wants to annex the others, expand its territory, and strengthen its power. Open and covert conflicts between the nations abound.

Hang values military strength, Sheng prizes scholarship, Quan emphasizes commerce, the Shi royal family has established the office of ritual officials and prizes divination, while Jing's national policy encompasses everything under the sun.

The crown prince of Jing is named Yao Long, and he excels at mechanical devices. The youngest daughter is named Yao Chuan. Though young, she is exceptionally talented at business. The eldest daughter is named Yao Feng. She has studied a little of everything, and though she is no expert, she knows enough...

But she is lively and spirited, and has grand ambitions. She decides to travel through all five kingdoms to recruit talent for her older brother and build up their country. So, just as her father begins preparing for her brother to take the throne, she resolutely...

runs away from home.

Qi Yao Feng takes the name Yao Feng and sets out from the capital of Sheng, embarking on a journey through all five kingdoms that lasts more than a year.

Two years later, war is about to break out, and her older brother has finally succeeded in inheriting their father's throne. So Yao Feng huffs and puffs as she rounds up all the friends she made over those two years and brings them back for her brother.

Well, knowing lots of people really does come in handy.

1. An alternate-world age of chaos with unscientific elements. Yes, genuinely unscientific.

2. Fengfeng will win, and she really is good at getting along with people. Running away from home works (Hey!).

3. There is a romantic supporting couple.

4. I refuse to believe my whole story is flawless, so please point out any problems. Classical poems and songs may appear even though this is an alternate-world age of chaos. Don't worry about it (wipes away tears).

5. This is just something I came up with while chatting. Something I came up with while chatting. Something I came up with while chatting.

Theme: He who wins the people's hearts wins the world.
