[Genshin Impact] Oops, Wrong Set!

[A self-indulgent story I started in 2022. The outline was 58 chapters, but I obviously went over, so it's currently about 200,000 words. I'll apply for a contract after I finish writing it.]

[Once it's done, I'll see how it feels and consider revising it. It's free, so cut me some slack.]

[There's a Honkai: Star Rail upcoming novel in my profile. Come check it out!]

There aren't that many runaway trucks in the world, and you don't get into that many car accidents. The God of Transmigration thinks for a moment, realizes this month's KPI is short, and gives the order to transmigrate an unlucky cosplayer. My friend and I are deeply honored...

Wait! Honored my foot!

Don't make people transmigrate for no reason and then assign them a task to save the world!

*

Cyno thought this would be a "simple" world-saving mission, until he and his friend, who was cosplaying Nahida, saw a few lines of text in that strange "Adventurer's Handbook."

[Unlocked faction: Armed Detective Agency]

[Eliminated cursed spirits: 3]

Cyno: ?

Cyno, who has read countless fanfics, gets a gradually sharper look in his eyes.

Don't tell me that after they leave Yokohama, they'll run into some shrunken famous detective! Damn it!

1. No romance pairing, but the two were close before transmigrating. Cyno used to be a girl (though, actually, she didn't have much of a sense of gender even before transmigrating...). Lawful Good x2.

2. The idea came to me in the second half of 2022, before the Wanderer was released (back then Genshin Impact didn't even have a tag, in that tone of voice).

3. Not long, no misunderstandings, no angst, but there are jokes, a return to the original world, and people getting rescued.

4. Comments make me happy. If I don't reply, I may be too socially anxious to speak lately.

5. Writing a short story to practice finishing one.

6. From 2025.3.5: I came up with an idea for an extra story. The main story still wasn't finished on March 5, but I'd already started wondering if the extra might end up longer than the main story.

Theme: If you have the courage to give, you will always be rewarded.
