The Keeper Always Thinks I'm a Little Lion Demon

Jiang Ruan has shrunk, becoming about the size of a tiny kitten.

He is one of the nine sons of the Dragon, a Suanni. He nearly ended up as food for a little monster, and when he opened his eyes again, he was on a bus bound for Linjiang City.

Jiang Ruan drags his exhausted body around the streets until one day he meets a little dog demon being held in a human's arms.

The little dog demon boasts: "This is my caretaker. I don't have to do a thing every day. My caretaker gets everything ready for me!"

Jiang Ruan: "You can get a deal like that?"

Jiang Ruan immediately makes up his mind, patting his paw. He, the great Suanni, is going to find a caretaker too.

Shen Yiwen gets accosted by a tiny lion demon cub.

The little lion demon clings to his pant leg and gazes up at him with round, kitten-like eyes, making a soft, babyish "Awooo" sound.

A cub! A living cub! A fluffy little cub!

Shen Yiwen feigns aloofness. "Hey, kid, where's your family?"

What? You don't have any? Then come home with big brother!

Just then, Taotie awakens, causing widespread panic. The Demon Affairs Office sends Shen Yiwen to capture it.

Shen Yiwen calls the little lion demon at home, then rushes off to capture Taotie.

By the Linjiang River, Shen Yiwen looks at the figure huddled up with the ferocious beast Taotie.

Why does it look more and more like his little lion demon?!
