I Tackle Pollution on a Wasteland Planet [Interstellar]

.

Before she transmigrated to the interstellar era, Su Wu was a proud graduate of environmental engineering from Blue Star.

She graduated straight into unemployment. Just when she finally found a job selling insurance, she ended up in the interstellar era, only for her own father to send her to a barren planet.

Barren soil, withered trees, and grass roots with pollutant levels off the charts.

"Ding dong! Congratulations on activating the Pollution Control System."

Su Wu: Yes! Environmentalists have spirit!

When the people at the barren planet's base heard that the Marshal's spoiled daughter was coming, they were deeply displeased. They all thought she would be a burden, and even bet on how many days it would take her to leave.

But not only did she stay, enticing aromas regularly drifted out of her room.

Finally, one day, they were lured into knocking on her door.

The girl opened it, holding a plate of vibrant green vegetables.

Everyone: ?

Ever since coming to the barren planet, they had been stuck drinking even the worst-tasting nutrient fluids. Their mouths watered as they asked in trembling voices, "W-where did you get those?"

"Over there."

Where Su Wu pointed, a vast patch of green leaves swayed in the soil, where nothing should have been able to grow.

In her second month on the barren planet, Su Wu took a stroll through its most polluted region.

Not only did she come out unharmed, she even returned with a whole pack of ferocious beasts, impossible to tame and bursting with combat power.

"Oh, they liked the carrots I grew, so they came back with me."

Everyone: ?

What's more, not long after she left, the polluted zone began to show signs of improvement.

In her third month on the barren planet, she published A Guide to Polluted Organisms on Barren Planets. It recorded polluted plants and animals in detail, along with methods for dealing with them, saving countless lives.

In her fourth month on the barren planet, she was kidnapped by space pirates.

The others were frantic with worry and resolved to get her back, whatever the cost.

But she returned safe and sound the very next day.

"What's wrong with you all? I just went to visit a friend."

The space pirates, facing the rampaging beasts that had gone three days without food, nodded through their tears. "Yes, yes, that's right. Please, don't come back!"

One day, the Imperial Marshal remembered his daughter and summoned the butler to ask, "Has the young lady learned her lesson?"

"No. She has already taken over the barren planet, received a commendation from His Majesty, and is about to teach at the Imperial University."
