[Western Crossover] After Becoming the Batman System

Chen Xingyue sighed and spoke in the old Bat's mind: I've been catching up on your DC comics lately. Your son came out of the closet.

Batman, who was busy beating the daylights out of Gotham's villains: ...

Chen Xingyue consoled him: Don't worry, there's no way they'd make you politically correct, DC's favorite son.

Chen Xingyue, an unknown drummer in the entertainment industry and a well-known producer, originally only dreamed every night that she was fighting crime in Gotham.

Later, she had to clock in at Gotham every night when she went to sleep, working as Batman's chatty System. The Host usually handled things himself. Chen Xingyue's only real functions were assigning milestone missions, getting the Host to try to expel her, performing stand-up comedy inside his head, haggling with the main AI over the things the Host was owed, and spoiling things for him.

Then one day, their connection was cut off.

Chen Xingyue was glad to have some free time and happily headed to America for a music festival.

Then she ran into her beloved Host backstage.

Bruce Wayne cornered her against the wall, his voice tender: Didn't you say we had to be together every night, Darling?
