"Zixu Ji" is a 2.3 Million-word masterpiece of tanci-style novels written by Wang Ouchang, a female writer from Xuyi County, Anhui Province (now part of Jiangsu Province) during the Qing Dynasty. It is one of the four famous Tanci-style novels in China and is known as "the magnificent heroic epic of the East."
"Zixu Ji" takes the Xiaozong Dynasty of the Ming Dynasty as the historical background, and deliberately tells the story of Wen Yulin, a typical loyal minister and filial son, and the rebellious heroine Zhao Xiangxian.
