Lan, You Would See Me This Way

Ying Alan, son of the Demon Realm's Lord, had always been flamboyant and arrogant. He was ruthless, cruel, and utterly self-important. Whenever he appeared, he turned the Three Realms upside down. Only the Divine Realm's famous Lord Qingyi could keep him in check.

Everyone knew that Ying Alan saw Qingyi as a thorn in his side, and wanted nothing more than to kill him and tear him apart to satisfy his hatred.

Later, when Qingyi descended to the mortal realm to undergo a trial, Ying Alan made a grand show of following him down to take advantage of the opportunity and end his life.

An immortal's fate during a trial could not be changed at will, and everyone feared that Lord Qingyi might fall into the demon's hands this time.

No one could have imagined that the grand Demon Lord who had descended so boldly would end up returning in disgrace, clutching his waist.

-

Ying Alan had been arrogant his whole life. He never imagined that, halfway through it, fate would leave him with such a humiliating stain.

That stain was called Qingyi, his old rival.

To be specific, he'd planned to kill Qingyi while he was living as a mortal.

But things took an unexpected turn, and he was the one who got taken out, in a different way.

It was humiliating, so Ying Alan could only swallow his bitterness. Qingyi wouldn't remember anything after completing his trial, after all. Heaven, earth, and Alan alone knew what had happened.

Ying Alan silently swore that the next time they met, he would take Qingyi's head and avenge the humiliation he'd suffered that day.

But he never expected that, when they met again, Qingyi would press him at every turn.

Ying Alan felt guilty, and naturally lost some of his swagger. He forced himself to sound imposing and snapped:

"What are you staring at? Someone, gouge out this sickly brat's eyes and serve them to me with my wine!"

But Qingyi merely coughed twice, his face cold and snow caught in his lashes, while warmth filled his eyes.

"Seeing Alan fills my heart with joy."

"?"

"I imagine... Alan feels the same when he sees me."

"??? What nonsense is that??? Shut up!!!"

What do you mean, the same?!
