[Screenwriter x Forensic Doctor]

[The story opens with the preface to Her Murders. Skip the preface and the main story is hilarious.]

[An introverted forensic doctor is hopeless at shamelessly pursuing her wife, so she can only keep trying to manufacture chance encounters]

crushes reuniting after a breakup / suspenseful push and pull / Anyway, when the forensic doctor is not dissecting bodies at the funeral home, she is pursuing her wife at the crematorium. She is always on the road.

The day the all-female production of Her Murders was officially greenlit, chief screenwriter Qin Luo was in an exceptionally good mood. But after receiving the table-read list, that good mood was cut short by one particularly conspicuous name.

Shen Yiyi, her crush from the unfinished chapter of her life at eighteen, was coming to give the actresses in the production forensic training….

*

Sister Qin maintained her online persona of self-love and self-reliance. During the day, she pretended not to know Shen Yiyi and spoke in a strictly businesslike manner, yet at night she waited miserably for the other woman’s messages until dawn.

She seriously suspected that, besides Forensic Medicine, Shen Yiyi had also studied The Art of Push and Pull.

She had tugged Qin Luo until every muscle and bone ached, yet the other woman responded to every kiss with complete silence.

*

Qin Luo was starting to lose her composure after being teased so mercilessly. After blocking Forensic Doctor Shen, she went to a club to get drunk late at night.

She took advantage of her intoxication to post two affected, coy updates:

“Of the eighteen explanations of love, the one closest to you is this: love’s wild abandon, and me, curled up within it.”

“An unfinished story is like an inflamed appendix: both are unnecessary additions to life.”

*

Qin Luo’s affected ultimatum did not bring her a dramatic pursuit at a funeral pyre. Instead, Forensic Doctor Shen came to her door to manufacture a chance encounter:

“What couldn’t you write? Why did you have to write a murder case?”

“To clear your production’s name, I’ve already claimed two bodies.”

“You... who are you saying is unnecessary?”

*

Once sober, Qin Luo’s self-love reached a new level.

She said, “Thank you for your hard work investigating the case, Director Shen, but you won’t need to come anymore starting tomorrow. We’ve found someone else for the production’s training.”

Main synopsis:

Chief screenwriter Qin Luo has barely begun the table read when murder cases start appearing one after another, and the media is flooded with headlines:

#Another Man Has Been Murdered

#The Country’s First Female Serial Killer

#The Killer Imitates the Methods in Qin Luo’s New Book, Her Murder Hidden in the Dark

Terrified, Qin Luo knocked on Forensic Doctor Shen’s dormitory door and sent her roommate away in the middle of the night.

She raised her hand toward the light and swore:

“The killer has nothing to do with me. I’ll revise the script right in front of you. I’ll write that the killer comes to surrender to you tomorrow!!”

Shen Yiyi blinked. “You’re trying to get me killed, aren’t you?”
