[KO One] The Observer's Code

The first time Shi Kui met Wang Da Dong, he was wearing an old uniform from Bal High School from ten years ago. With his nonconformist blond spiked hair, he chased off the punks trying to extort her.

"Hey, little girl, are you okay? Big brother's already chased the bad guys away."

Watching him make a face like he was talking to a child, Shi Kui said coldly, "Thanks, but I'm twenty."

"Huh?"

And so, Shi Kui's first impression of Wang Da Dong was that he seemed like a bit of an idiot.

But Shi Kui never expected that this idiot would pull her back into the world of the living, turning her from an observer who stood apart from everyone into someone with a heart, a pulse, and people she cared about.

"The moon revolves around the sun, and sometimes its dark side shines on the sun. Wang Da Dong makes himself the sun, so their darkness can be touched by gentle sunlight."

Sunflowers draw energy from the sun's light and warmth.

So...

Shi Kui likes Wang Da Dong.

But she will never let Wang Da Dong know that she likes him.

Shi Kui was far too lonely and isolated.

So Wang Da Dong always wanted to bring her back to a warm, living world, where she could take in the sun's light and warmth like a sunflower and become happy.

But later, the sunflower withered.

He forgot her name.

The male lead is Wang Da Dong. Canon couples are broken up, but I won't bash anyone from the original series.

The female lead is cold and selfish at first and doesn't want to get involved in anything. She's flawed and imperfect, but grows and changes as the story goes on.

The story is set in KO One 2. It came from a dream I had about Wang Da Dong, and connects to my other Ultimate-series fanfics.

The writing is amateurish, and updates are irregular. Fanfic characters may be out of character, so click away if it's not for you.
