Worrying Every Day That Gin Will Go to the Distillery

While taking a coffee break from skipping work, Akagi Tsuru inexplicably stumbled upon a murder.

The good news: an undercover police officer was sitting at the next table.

The bad news: the victim had switched seats with her before dying, and she'd gone to the restroom, making it look like she might have destroyed evidence.

Akagi Tsuru was taken to the police station as a suspect.

The officer questioning her had flowing silver hair, long, narrow green eyes, and a strikingly handsome face. Yet Akagi Tsuru broke out in a cold sweat.

He knew all too well how many times this guy had chased him down and hacked him to pieces in the dream he'd created.

Sob, it was absolutely terrifying.

Akagi Tsuru called her boss in tears. "Hello, Mr. Ranpo, please come save me."
