The Police Academy Squad Is Raising Ranpo in the Cloud

Matsuda Jinpei, Furuya Rei, Morofushi Hiromitsu, Hagiwara Kenji, and Date Wataru lived in the dormitory.

One day, they returned to their room after training and found a virtual pet machine called “Tamagotchi” on the table.

Everyone agreed that someone was pulling a prank, but Hagiwara Kenji thought it looked interesting and was the first to try raising the pet.

Their charge was a boy named “Ranpo.”

Players had to feed him at the right times and buy snacks, shampoo, body wash, and other items from the shop to keep Ranpo healthy as he grew.

One day, Hagiwara Kenji noticed that their dorm supplies were mysteriously disappearing and that a corner had been bitten off his bread. He began to suspect something was wrong.

“Hey, Jinpei, did you take my stuff?”

Virtual Ranpo:

1. Ranpo loves sugar and sweet treats. Pay attention to how often you feed him each day. Too many will lower his health. {Ranpo will ask for candy in all sorts of ways. Please don't give in.}

2. Ranpo hates exercise. Make sure he works out every day to improve his health.

3. Ranpo is afraid of the dark. Keep the machine lit, and when needed, tell him a bedtime story. Put on your headphones and patiently soothe him to sleep.

4. Unlocking Ranpo's “affection” will bring you good luck.

As the first person to raise Ranpo's affection to Lv. 2, Hagiwara Kenji received an anonymous package.

“Don't go to the auto factory today.”

The next day, a massive explosion at the auto factory killed and injured countless people.

Hagiwara Kenji: “Yikes, that's pretty accurate.”

Later, a black-haired, green-eyed boy in a police academy uniform stood before them, fuming and gesturing wildly. “Great Detective Ranpo is not going to eat five meals a day or do five workouts! You're all so mean!”

Everyone: ???

[Reader's Guide]

1. Ranpo is linked to five virtual characters. Any debuff to a game character will also cause Ranpo the cat to suffer and feel sad, so treat him carefully.

2. Pay attention to the cat's health and mood. If his mood gets too low, he'll run away from home.

3. No supernatural abilities. Raising a child. Ranpo's parents are alive.

4. This is Ranpo as a police officer who graduates from the academy without a hitch!

5. The police academy has a fictional four-year program, and the police academy group has a fictional enrollment date. Please be gentle about OOC!! [Important]
