Iwasaki Riku, a graduate advisor at Toto University, usually shows up right on time and leaves right on time, but is widely regarded as a great teacher.
There's one simple reason: none of Iwasaki Riku's grad students have ever needed an extra year to graduate!
And what's more, this advisor is very easygoing!
Skipping a general education class?
Sure! As long as you don't fail.
Need to miss a group meeting?
No problem! Those meetings are just a formality. Reading the minutes is just as good.
Can't find him after class?
No problem! We're all adults. As long as I don't get a phone call, you can do whatever you want.
Haven't turned in your proposal?
No proble... Wait, what???
Staring at the completely silent chat window, Iwasaki Riku fell into deep thought.
Does this kid not want to graduate?
Of course, whether to graduate is up to the student...
But messing with my perfect graduation record is not okay!
Iwasaki Riku: deadline-chasing mode, ON!
Can't reach them by text, phone, or email?
No problem, the records office has their registered address!
So one day, a squinty-eyed graduate student was sipping bourbon and enjoying the moonlight when he heard the doorbell. He opened the door and found his advisor, whom he'd only met a few times.
"Hey, my dear student, are you asleep?"
The advisor stood in the doorway, beaming.
"If you're awake, please write your thesis. If you're asleep, get up and write your thesis anyway!"
The Black Organization has been wiped out. Has Akai gone back to America?
No, he's still being hounded by his advisor to write his thesis.
Cat Boy: Would you come to America with me?
Riku: To hell with America. You're not leaving Beika Town until you finish your thesis!
Notes:
1. Unless something unexpected happens, this should be Akai x Iwasaki Riku.
2. The protagonist is an original character who's secretly a big shot, but the author hasn't figured out what kind of big shot yet.
3. Other people propose with rings, but Akai proposes with a thesis. We're doing things our own way! Hehe!
4. This came from me running my mouth. The main point will probably be to torment Akai, so don't read if that's not your thing.
Theme: Nothing is more important than a thesis!
