A Conquest Story

"He tried to win me over and make me fall in love with him."

In The Silent World, Bo Yuan is a powerful, tragic villain destined to be defeated by the protagonist. Everything was supposed to follow its predetermined course, but something went wrong along the way: the great villain killed the protagonist and destroyed the world.

The Heavenly Dao restarted the world and selected Yue Mingya as the one to win him over.

"The great villain is ruthless and has no humanity. Fortunately, you'll transmigrate to a time before he became a demon."

"He's still a weak, pitiful boy whom anyone can bully."

"Your mission is to change him with love."

Bo Yuan was born a demon seed and has difficulty understanding emotions.

On the day he entered the immortal sect, someone called him a bastard, someone told him to die, and someone crushed his fingers beneath their foot.

That was when Yue Mingya appeared.

Yue Mingya chased off the people tormenting him, gently took his hand, and healed his crushed fingers.

White robes fell softly into his line of sight.

Yue Mingya asked him, "Does it hurt?"

He brought him into the immortal sect and made him his junior brother. He taught him swordsmanship and invited him to go on adventures together.

Yue Mingya wanted Bo Yuan to become a good person.

But Bo Yuan was a demon seed, destined to fall into demonic cultivation.

On the day he fell into demonic cultivation, Bo Yuan watched Yue Mingya throw himself onto his sword.

Blood stained Yue Mingya's white robes red.

Yue Mingya begged him to choose the right path and be a good person.

Then he heard that monster say to Yue Mingya again, "Yue Mingya, hurry up and die. Then we'll make him go through the whole groveling-after-his-wife-in-the-crematorium storyline."

Holding Yue Mingya in his arms from dawn until dusk, Bo Yuan thought in confusion:

He had been begged to fall in love with him.

Why did he have to grovel to win him back?

To understand, on the day he found Yue Mingya, Bo Yuan locked him in his bedchamber and destroyed the monster that had been speaking in Yue Mingya's ear. His eyes were rimmed with red, his voice hoarse with excitement.

"Senior Brother, I've found you."

"You begged me to love you."

"I've fallen in love with you."

"You're mine."
