The Heart-Hunting Game

Everyone loves me, and I love him. - At an information session, Pei Qingshi was captivated by someone's looks and set his sights on him. Qi Yue. Yue, as in "crossing the line." A poor college student with a pretty face. At the time, Qi Yue was about to confess his feelings to the one he loved. In a white shirt, with a handwritten love letter, he was rehearsing his confession when he was interrupted. The glance he cast over was cold and wary. Everyone in the upper circles knew Pei Qingshi was a madman. Yet he held power and status, was ruthless and unscrupulous, and stopped at nothing. Whatever he wanted, he could get. Qi Yue became Pei Qingshi's new target. The next time Pei Qingshi saw Qi Yue, he had "crossed the threshold" and "entered the house." Sitting in Qi Yue's rented apartment, he made Qi Yue kiss him face-to-face, then very pleasantly asked him to be his boyfriend. - During the three years he was entangled with Pei Qingshi, Qi Yue came to hate him completely. Pei used his power to bully him, drove away everyone close to him, and planned out his life. He wanted Qi Yue alienated by everyone, left with no support, stripped of his freedom, and turned into a second madman. A rotten man's sincerity, cruel and heartless. Then, after an unforeseen event, Pei Qingshi died at sea, leaving no body behind. Qi Yue rushed back in a frenzy, only to find a will waiting for him. With love and hate now at an end, he had become the inheritance Pei Qingshi left behind in this world. "Crossing the threshold" and "entering the house" are usually metaphors for gradually advancing in learning or skill until one reaches a profound level. Here, they are used as two separate actions.
