I Was Told I'm the Doomsday Boss [Narcissism]

A doppelganger romance

-

Shen Yunwei always thought his life was too dull. He needed some adventure and excitement.

Then spiritual qi revival began, and calamities and gods descended upon the world at the same time.

Chosen by a god, he became its agent.

Eighteen-year-old Shen Yunwei shouted at the sky, "I want to be a savior!"

The next second, someone passed through a rift in time and space and appeared before him. "The future is in peril. Time and space are asking for help."

Ten years later, an above-S-class calamity appeared out of nowhere.

With the world facing destruction, the Special Operations Bureau asked Shen Yunwei to kill it.

Shen Yunwei, who had just awakened as a Level 1 god's agent: "Huh? Me?"

The day he transmigrated into the future,

Shen Yunwei came face-to-face with that above-S-class calamity.

With a lift of its hand, dark clouds blotted out the sun. Black lightning was its signature. It had the Special Operations Bureau dancing in the palm of its hand.

Until he saw the calamity's face clearly...

The above-S-class calamity, Zhen Yunwei.

Some said he was a "fallen god." The day he was born, a city of a million people was reduced to ashes.

He was immortal, the most terrifying calamity ever to descend upon the world.

No one could kill him.

When time in the past was set in motion, Zhen Yunwei learned of the laughable plan those foolish people had come up with: have him kill himself.

The brash younger version of himself, fresh out of the gate and declaring he would be a savior.

Zhen Yunwei allowed him to kill him.

On the day of the assassination,

Zhen Yunwei sat on a throne of bones, waiting for that weak version of himself to plunge a knife into his chest.

Instead, what greeted him was a punch to the shoulder.

"Hey!"

Shen Yunwei demanded, "You think changing the name your parents gave you makes you cool?"

For the first time, the cold fallen god looked bewildered.
