The Departed

Akutagawa Hatsuo was a girl full of promise, or so everyone said.

Sadly, she died young, her beauty gone.

On her way to the afterlife, Akutagawa Hatsuo stopped in her tracks when she saw her younger brother and sister in another world, struggling to survive in a slum.

Unable to leave her blood relatives behind, Akutagawa Hatsuo left the Sanzu River and returned to the world of the living.

"Hello, Gin. I'm your big sister."

Drawn to her by blood, yet wary because of their circumstances,

the two little ones were eventually moved by their sister's kindness and left that hellish place.

"...Sorry, but I've been dead for a long time."

Her soul, glowing with faint specks of light, stayed in this world for the sake of her family.

"Big Sister!!!"

Once she had fulfilled her dearest wish, she naturally returned to where she belonged.
