After Being Forced to Bind Myself to a System That Requires Me to Win Over a Taoist Nun

After Chen Shaoyang, the Human Emperor of the Three Realms, dies, he transmigrates to another world and is forced to bind himself to a mysterious System. The System's ultimate task is to make a woman named Zhou Shishui fall in love with him. Once the mission is complete, Chen Shaoyang can return to his own world, come back from the dead, and accomplish his great undertaking.

What a bargain: one woman's heart in exchange for a life.

Zhou Shishui, the True Immortal Wuyin, is the most famous heartless sword cultivator of Wuding Manor. Her heart is colder than her face, and she is as straightforward as her sword. Chen Shaoyang thinks, How hard can it be to win over someone like this, who's never even met a man? But he dies at her hands 120 times.

His most vivid memory is her soft laugh, both gentle and cold, disdainful of everyone and everything. Even when she kills him, her smile never changes.

On the 121st attempt, the arrogant, rude, and flippant Chen Shaoyang finally bows his head to the Taoist nun. Swallowing his pride, he chooses easy mode and starts his pursuit in childhood.

...Which means getting beaten up by the Taoist nun from the time he's a child.

It's basically the story of a male lead from a typical power-fantasy novel, bound to a romance-brained System, gradually developing Stockholm syndrome. The male lead is no good (though neither is the female lead). Rabid dog x fairy Taoist nun (?)

Written for my own tastes. As always, maybe there'll be some, maybe there won't.
