[Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan + Mononoke] Since It's Come to This, Let's Run

The Medicine Seller travels the world, devoted to resolving Mononoke. Every now and then, he does a good deed like petting a cat or saving someone, but most of the time he explores the Mononoke world's "Form, Truth, and Reason." He wanders alone for a long time, until one day he happens upon a daimyo's mansion in Kyoto, where a wedding is being held. A tremendous aura of imperial demons circles above the mansion, and the bride, dressed in a white wedding kimono, is a beautiful human girl. Her human soul is burdened with a weariness and indifference far beyond her years. People honor her as Princess Kagetsuki, while mocking her frail health. In private, they call her the Sickly Girl. Jinguji Toru discovers that a strange fellow has slipped into her wedding to the Nurarihyon. He wears a woman's kimono and a headscarf. Beneath his hair is a face covered in heavy, colorful makeup, expressionless but painted with smiling lips. He introduces himself as a traveling medicine seller. On the day of her wedding, he kneels before her, opens his case, and makes his pitch: "Would you like to see my wares?" Jinguji Toru smiles at him without saying a word. Rouge cannot conceal her pale lips, her cool expression, or her breathtaking beauty. ...For some reason, the Medicine Seller feels he ought to save her. * * A proper wish-fulfillment story, with Nurarihyon, Mononoke, and a modern-day arc. Yes, it's 2013 this year. The heroine reincarnates over and over. She's died too many times, so she's like someone middle-aged, helpless to change her fate. Anyway, it looks like a real mood-killer. The male lead is probably the Medicine Seller. It might be Nurarihyon no Nura. Or it could be Medicine Seller x Jinguji Toru x Nurarihyon no Nura. In short, I'll write whatever I want (?).
