Welcome to the Monster Restaurant

In the future, virtual games are all the rage. Welcome to the Monster Restaurant is the latest game released by Void Games. Here, players become the owner of a restaurant, constantly developing new dishes, unlocking new customers, and discovering their stories. The dishes players make affect how customers treat them. A player's relationships with regulars can affect the storylines of new customers... In the game, all the monster customers possess supernatural powers. The player's greatest asset in standing up to them is the restaurant rule they can add once a week. Starting restaurant rule: The restaurant is open from 19:00 to 01:00. The owner must remain inside the restaurant at all times. In addition, each player receives a unique talent at random when they first enter the game. Yun Li's talent, drawn after entering the game, was "Insight." While other players were still dying after angering customers over and over, he had nearly unlocked the entire backstory of the game. Then, at last, someone else discovered that the abilities from the game could be brought into reality. And there were signs that the monsters from the game were appearing in the real world... --- Upcoming Novel --- Logging Into the Horror World as an NPC In the year 3792, Blue Star encountered a high-level alien civilization and was offered a chance to ascend to a higher dimension. This would be the decisive battle that determined Blue Star's fate. The alien civilization would randomly select ten contestants from Blue Star to clear stages in the Horror World. If they succeeded, Blue Star would ascend. If they failed, Blue Star would be destroyed and turned into a new stage. The ten contestants would be livestreamed throughout the competition. * Before the high-level alien civilization arrived, the powerful Ji family of Blue Star had just welcomed back their true young master, Ji Xiuyi, who had been lost for over twenty years. Since ancient times, true and fake young masters have been sworn enemies. Ji Xiuyi, the true young master, agreed. He would do his best to defend the dignity and status of a true young master. But things didn't seem to be going the way he imagined... He and the fake young master, Ji Yanping, were both selected as two of the ten contestants in the Horror World competition. Looking at the profession he'd drawn at random, "NPC," Ji Xiuyi was stunned. What?! Well, this was about as wonderfully ironic as it got. * Ji Yanping's smooth-sailing life was suddenly thrown into turmoil. The old tale of a child switched at birth had actually happened to him, and there was nothing wonderful about it. Worse still, the planet he lived on had encountered an unprecedented crisis. As one of the selected contestants, he had to resolve the crisis first, no matter what. But why was there a deranged NPC in every Horror World he logged into, and why did that NPC look so familiar? So much like his dramatic true young master? Dramatic, troublemaking true young master bottom x cold-on-the-outside, devoted fake young master top Theme: No matter the circumstances, live well
