Shen Ci had once transmigrated into a morally depraved, over-the-top danmei novel full of love interests competing for the reader's favor. He was the Shen family's fake young master, raised for twenty-three years as a useless waste, and the cannon-fodder ex-wife who was abused by the first male lead and then ran away while pregnant.

Every one of the first, second, third, and fourth male leads was a pervert. In this depraved, coercive, sensationalist plot, Shen Ci's mission was to seize power.

Seize power :)

That's right, he was bound to a "Power-Seizing System." With a start this disastrous, he was still supposed to seize power and become head of the Shen family. Did his looks and figure really make him seem like someone who could seize power?

Spitting blood as he frantically used items, Shen Ci stacked eight hundred layers of buffs before finally defeating the world's consciousness and getting the first, second, third, and fourth male leads to help him seize power.

Not one of the four male leads was easy to deal with. Shen Ci's long, morally chaotic struggle for power was full of ***.

On the day he took power, all four male leads showed up at once to propose a marriage alliance. Every one of them looked like he was ready to devour someone.

Zhou Wenrui, youngest son of the Zhou family, twenty-five, and Shen Ci's childhood friend.

Jiang Yu, the true young master of the Jiang family who grew up outside the family, twenty-eight, and Shen Ci's personal butler.

The even worse news is...

Fu Bingyan is now trying to have him blacklisted throughout A City. After leaving the Shen family, Shen Jingjuan has made a comeback and intends to take the family back. Zhou Wenrui has inherited the Zhou family and announced throughout A City that no one else is allowed to marry him. After turning evil, Jiang Yu returned to the Jiang family, took control, and plans to leave Shen Ci with nothing.

Shen Ci's vision went black.

The even, even, even worse news is that he's pregnant with the child of his legal husband, Fu Bingyan. It's the very baby he ran away with in the original plot.

The answer is yes. They've all come looking for him.

Shen Ci only said he would run away with the baby. With these four men who can cover the sky with one hand, he can't get away at all.

He scrambles to juggle the four of them, watching as his business empire is about to be brought down by these vindictive men.

At the crucial moment, Shen Ci gets morning sickness.

The four men glare at him with bloodshot eyes and grind out, "Whose child is it?"

Tears cling to Shen Mo's lashes. He pauses, then suddenly comes up with a great way to stay alive.

He covers his mouth weakly and says, "I don't know."

During the months Shen Mo is pregnant, everyone thinks the child belongs to a rival. They fight tooth and nail for custody of Shen Mo and the baby, while the Shen family trembles in the crossfire and flourishes at the same time.

Then the baby is born, and the DNA test makes it crystal clear to everyone: the child is Fu Bingyan's.

Fu Bingyan gently hooks an arm around the beauty's slender waist and murmurs, "Be good. Come back to the Fu family with me."

Fu Bingyan thinks he's won, unaware that the real battle between rivals has only just begun now that the child is born.

* The first, second, third, and fourth male leads stake their claims:

Fu Bingyan: My child.

Shen Jingjuan: If you gave birth to it, then it's of the Shen family's bloodline.

Zhou Wenrui: If you can have Fu Bingyan's child, then you can have mine too.

Jiang Yu: Send the child back to the Fu family. From now on, you and Fu Bingyan will have nothing to do with each other.

Important notes:

1. The seemingly righteous scum male lead Fu Bingyan (a piece of trash early on, then the king of devoted lapdogs later).

2. Male rivalry showdown, a groveling redemption arc, plus some morally chaotic, over-the-top mess.

3. Shen Ci is the most beautiful person in the whole story. Every living thing in the world likes him, but each one shows it differently. Some of those ways are pretty nasty (cough) (the kind that likes you so much it has to bully you).

4. A world-viewpoint everybody-loves-him story. Everyone knows everyone likes him, except Shen Ci himself. It can be frustrating sometimes (important).
