Darling, I'm Waiting for You

The previous blurb was accidentally marked as danmei, and I couldn't change it, so I had to put the book up for presale again.

Ever since Cheng Yue was old enough to understand, he'd known that Fang Tao was the only woman he could marry. Their families had arranged the match, and love had nothing to do with it.

As a rebellious teenager, he resented anything that seemed inevitable. So he went out of his way to tease Fang Tao, trying to show everyone how much he disliked having her as his future wife. Until one day, someone told him that Fang Tao wasn't his future wife anymore.

"Cheng, have you heard? Your fiancée was switched at birth. Fang Tao isn't the one you're supposed to marry." A friend shared the good news with Cheng Yue.

"Then what happened to Fang Tao?" Cheng Yue froze.

"They sent her away, of course~~"

Cheng Yue vaulted over the wall and raced to the train station. All he saw was his future wife through the window of the train.

Fang Tao sent him two messages.

(Thank you for coming to see me off.)

(And you don't have to marry me anymore.)

"Damn it, woman. I've spent sixteen years forcing myself to fall for you, and now you think you can just run off?"

Four years later, they met again on their college campus. Cheng Yue pinned Fang Tao against a tree in a grove as she was heading to a mixer. "Honey, do you think I'm dead or something?"

"I... I'm not your honey anymore."

"If I say you are, then you are..."

Darling, can't you see I've been waiting for you all along?
