My Girlfriend Is a Cat

A soft and adorable kitten who brings good fortune and wards off evil VS a handsome, gentle police officer who fiercely protects those he loves

An Nian was abandoned as a baby. At three, she wandered into the territory of the cat demons and inherited the last of the black cat clan's power. After living as a cat for twelve years, she was rescued by An Changyuan, head of the Ninth Bureau, and returned to human society.

Naive and ignorant, An Nian has immense power. When she meets a vengeful ghost, she can swallow it whole; when she meets a zombie, she can rip it apart with her claws. But she has no idea how to get along with people.

That is, until a man named Chen Yang takes her home.

One day, Chen Yang found a black cat.

He bathed her, stroked her fur, and slept with her. Only after doing everything there was to do did he discover that the black cat was... a girl.

Chen Yang: "..."

An Nian: "I didn't mean to peek while you were bathing."

Chen Yang: "..."

==Bonus scene:

An Nian can bring good fortune as well as catch ghosts. A black cat's kiss can bring wealth.

One day, Chen Yang, a wealthy young gentleman from the capital, sighed at home. "The supermarket next door is having a promotion tomorrow. The first prize is a box of milk. I really want it."

An Nian: ... (Sneaks in a couple of kisses that night.)

The next day, Chen Yang carried home a box of milk, completely satisfied.

The author's next story, My Scholar Syndrome Husband [Reborn], is now underway...

Mu Xiaoya was twenty-six when she learned she had a sudden-onset hereditary disease. There was no cure, and all she could do was wait to die.

Many people came to see her before she died, but the one who left the deepest impression was Bai Chuan.

Bai Chuan was her neighbor, an autistic man with savant syndrome. His scarred face was full of anxiety. "I, I studied all your medical records. I can't save you."

Mu Xiaoya was stunned. "Are you a doctor?"

Bai Chuan said, "I'm not, but I have savant syndrome. I'm a genius. I can learn..."

Mu Xiaoya's illness was hereditary. There was no chance of a cure unless her genes could be changed. But Bai Chuan was the only person who had tried to cure her after she fell ill.

Mu Xiaoya asked, "Why do you want to cure me?"

Bai Chuan said, "I want to marry you."

Mu Xiaoya laughed. "If you marry me, you'll be a widower in no time."

Bai Chuan said, "I want to marry you." With his cognitive impairment, he couldn't express himself well, so he just repeated it over and over.

Mu Xiaoya died anyway. When she awoke again, she had returned to the summer of the year she graduated from university.

Bai Chuan said, "My grandmother is dying. She wants me to get married. I... I want to marry you."

Mu Xiaoya thought that if she was destined to live only four more years, she might as well marry Bai Chuan. At least then he wouldn't marry that vicious woman and end up with his handsome face disfigured in a fire.

Mu Xiaoya said, "Okay."

The starlight in Bai Chuan's eyes at that moment was the most beautiful sight Mu Xiaoya had ever seen in either of her lives.
