You Think You're Worthy? [Interstellar]

The old duke had no luck with romance. He died on his wedding night, leaving behind the enemy nation's riches and a beautiful, disabled bride.

The people of the empire whispered: The new duchess is cursed. She brings death to her husbands!

What a pity. She's so beautiful, but who knows what man will be lucky enough to inherit her vast fortune and tame this icy beauty?

In an age of war, no one knew if they would see the next day. In the year 3085 of the New Star Calendar, the Empire's glory finally crumbled before the Federation's iron cavalry, and its gates were breached by the legendary, peerlessly valiant general.

The emperor surrendered, and all the royal relatives and nobles became prisoners.

In full view of everyone, the duke's widow tumbled from her wheelchair, utterly humiliated, as the young general lifted her chin with the tip of his boot.

Looking down at her, the general smiled darkly. "How do I measure up now?"

...No one knew that, many years ago, the soft foot of this wealthy widower had once stepped on the general's sweat-soaked face.

#He planted a garden full of roses because he wanted to watch him read poetry among the flowers#

Taciturn, rough-hewn top who gets things done x cold, proud, ruthless, scheming bottom with a disability

Down-on-his-luck gardener (?) x wealthy widower
