My Junior Brother Doesn't Want to Reconcile After Our Breakup

In his previous life, Wu Qing wanted to cultivate the Heartless Way, but Ye Changshan refused to let him.

In this life, Ye Changshan tells Wu Qing, “Senior Brother, cultivating the Heartless Way is the best choice for you.”

But Wu Qing no longer wants to.

Ye Changshan's perspective:

I've loved my senior brother for my whole life.

The fish swimming in the pond, the deer running through the woods, the cranes flying in the sky,

I'll do whatever he tells me to, and I'll ponder over whatever he doesn't.

I think he might like me, but he probably doesn't love me.

Wu Qing's perspective:

I have a junior brother.

He said he liked me, and I turned him down.

He said he liked me again, and I said yes.

We separated, then made up.

If I had another chance, I'd treat him a little better this time. Wait,

why has my junior brother run off?

Why can't I win him back?

The beloved can take their love for granted, but no one ever told Wu Qing

what to do if the other person stopped loving him.

Ye Changshan has loved enough. In this life, he no longer wants to follow the other person's lead.

Wu Qing thought love could begin again, but when he turned around, the one he loved was gone.

“Senior Brother, I only wish that in this life, with mountains and rivers between us, our paths will never cross again.”

(Haven't decided whether this will be ancient xianxia or a modern school story.)
