What Could a Cat Possibly Do Wrong? [Cultivation]

Gu Bai is a cat demon. After finally cultivating his way to immortality, he is told that the world will soon be destroyed by a demon overlord. The only way to save it is to return to the past and kill the demon before he grows up.

The great formation is activated, and Gu Bai returns to the past. Before he can go find the demon, an accident happens. He loses contact with the present, and the little cat whose body he has possessed is captured and locked up with a black kitten.

The black kitten is covered in wounds and barely breathing. As he escapes, Gu Bai scoops the kitten up and takes him along, searching for the demon while raising him.

The kitten is difficult to raise. He can't hunt, and he can't even meow. Gu Bai has no choice but to teach him bit by bit. Fortunately, he learns to hunt quickly. As for meowing, he never manages to learn.

On the day the kitten finally learns to meow, Gu Bai reconnects with the present and discovers the truth: the little one at his side isn't a black cat at all, but Lou Qi, the great demon who will bring about the world's destruction three thousand years in the future.

Looking at the black cat, now considerably bigger, rubbing against his legs and meowing, Gu Bai falls silent.

It seems he has raised the great demon into a real cat...

Raising him as a cat is fine, as long as he doesn't destroy the world three thousand years from now. Gu Bai diligently raises the cat, who grows bigger and bigger, while the body Gu Bai inhabits reaches its limits.

On the day he must leave, he happens to encounter an attack. With the last of his strength, Gu Bai takes a fatal blow meant for the great demon. Before he can say goodbye, he returns to the normal timeline.

He thought the calamity had passed, but the prophesied disaster still arrives. Gu Bai hurries to the battlefield and sees an enormous black beast standing at the head of the demons. The moment it sees him, the beast abandons the battlefield and rushes toward him.

A vast shadow falls over him. Gu Bai is nearly knocked off balance by the familiar nudge, and a man's deep voice sounds beside his ear:

"Big brother, don't leave me behind."

What bad intentions could a kitty have? He just wants to snuggle.
