Wen Tang is a renowned demon hunter, beautiful and a formidable fighter.

But there's one problem: she's dying.

Ji Bai is the strangest of the demon ghouls. He doesn't live by drinking human blood.

He thinks their blood is filthy.

That is, until he meets Wen Tang. From the very first moment, though they are hundreds of miles apart, he can smell the sweet, unusual scent about her.

He wants to bite her, wants to leave his mark on her neck. He wants it badly.

So when Wen Tang comes to stand before him as he wishes, Ji Bai gives the girl in dark robes a gentle smile.

Before he feeds, he doesn't mind indulging her a little.

In the end, Ji Bai gets what he wants, of course, but in a way neither of them could have expected.
