A Sea God Fell Out of a Manga

Reader's Note:

The novel version of a Korean drama script (student edition). Going premium on June 29. If you've already read it, please don't buy it.

The imaginary casting for the leads is the Messenger and the Little Bride.

* Sea god Lee Do Hoon, powerless after falling into human society, and comic artist Jo Mi Rae, who worries every day about what to draw *

Sea god Lee Do Hoon falls out of a comic and finds himself face-to-face with the human who drew him. Wait, did he come out of a comic drawn by a human?

After Lee Do Hoon realizes he's fallen into this world, he discovers that his sea god powers are almost nonexistent. Every day, he gets drunk to numb himself.

After all, he's a sea god who's stepped out of a comic. He has neither the means nor the power to save the oceans on Earth. The only thing he can do is help the comic artist who drew him become famous.

Jo Mi Rae runs a cocktail lounge by the sea. It's very quiet because hardly anyone comes in. But she wants to make money, especially with rent due next month. Just as she's sitting there, frowning and fretting, a rather handsome man suddenly walks in.

The only problem is, he claims to be a sea god, which Jo Mi Rae finds hard to believe. This guy, who doesn't seem capable of anything, is a sea god?

He may not have much power, but by becoming a handsome local landmark that people love to take pictures with, he makes the lounge a huge hit on Instagram. Plenty of influencers come by to eat and take photos!

Seeing the sudden jump in sales, Jo Mi Rae feels free to pursue her comics career, and even puts up ads for her comic in the lounge. The comic she posts online gradually rises to number one in popularity!

But plenty of people are curious: did the owner base her comic characters on the faces of the staff? The two of them look so much alike!

Coming soon! Coming soon!!
