Comic Protagonist in the Middle of an Amazing Performance

[I want to write this one too!!, I’ve got another shonen manga with a similar premise, I Became a Big Shot After Getting the Wrong Script. Come take a look, come take a look (looking forward to it)]

As Chu Xiuyan lay dying, he was forced to bind himself to a System. To stay alive, he had to become the protagonist of an immensely popular comic.

System: As the absolute protagonist, you have the right to name the comic.

Chu Xiuyan didn’t hesitate. With a flourish, he wrote several large characters on the System’s screen.

What Should I Do After Becoming the Villain Boss When Disaster Strikes?

System: …

Chu Xiuyan, confidently: Villain protagonists are all the rage these days. I’ve already got the script ready. Let me at it, System.

Ever since a global blood mist swept the world, disasters had descended. Monstrous beasts ran rampant, and plants grew wildly, turning city after city into ruins.

Survivors built countless bases, only to see them swallowed by waves of beasts again and again.

Darkness spread across the land. The end point of evolution was certainly not hope.

Then came a gray mist.

A black-haired young man emerged from it, his smile bold and unrestrained, his coat fluttering behind him. With a wave of his hand, countless ferocious beasts took shape in the mist, tearing everything apart for their master.

He was darker than darkness and more brilliant than light.

He was the most terrifying tyrant and the most benevolent saint.

In a world struck by disaster, he was the first ray of light before dawn.

“It’s time for one last great fog.”

Reader forum:

[I’m fucking dying! Who’s that domineering cool guy in the synopsis? Isn’t our protagonist only capable of looking cool for three seconds at a time?]

[I told you, Disaster Villain and Blood Crystal Calamity are two different comics! Our sunny, handsome Xiugou isn’t some cold-blooded villain~]

[Ahhhhh! The protagonist is so good at this! He kicks people around and acts cool, then turns around and acts cute! Damn it, baby, step on me!!!]

…

Chu Xiuyan gloomily scrolled through the forum. “System, my character’s gone off the rails.”

System: “When you start complaining after every time you act cool, you never managed to establish your villain persona in the first place.”

1. The protagonist has no romantic pairing; platonic relationships only. A coming-of-age adventure. No secret identity, and he isn’t a mastermind behind the scenes (?). The protagonist is a golden retriever and husky mix.

2. The protagonist is handsome. The protagonist is the handsomest.

3. If you want a genuinely good person, click away. The protagonist doesn’t have that ‘with great power comes great responsibility’ mindset. At the start, he’s just an ordinary person who happens to be a little more capable. Thanks.
