Leto Osborn: a third-rate villain, a second-rate rich kid, and a first-rate photographer. His greatest dream in life is to surpass that detestable Parker and become Spider-Man's number one photographer.
Sadly, after his dad and big brother successively became villains, his boss sent him packing to Metropolis to establish a new branch. From then on, he could only be Superman's photographer.
Ah, life!
Leto trudges along with his camera, following Superman.
Superman rescues a cat in Metropolis, while Leto snaps photos from the shadows.
Superman saves passengers from a falling plane high in the sky, while Leto snaps photos from the clouds.
Superman saves someone drowning at sea, while Leto hides underwater, blowing bubbles as he secretly takes pictures.
After a whole month of this, Superman finally can't take it anymore and flies into space for a breather. The next second, cold sweat breaks out all over his back. He turns around and sees a hand reaching out into space, holding a camera pointed at him and snapping away, before vanishing with a whoosh.
The Kryptonian flees back to Gotham in terror. "!! B! B! Help!!!"
The Justice League and their neighbors, the Avengers, hold a less-than-friendly meeting. The topic: "Is Leto Osborn a secret agent sent by the competition to spy on our members?"
A certain friendly neighborhood New Yorker, also a childhood friend of the Osborn family, rushes forward to apologize: "I'm so, so, so sorry! Leto just loves photography too much, he's practically obsessed! We're really sorry for disturbing you!"
The Dark Knight remains skeptical. But no matter how they investigate, Leto Osborn looks like nothing more than a fanatical superhero paparazzo, with superpowers, to boot.
Then one day, a Hydra base hidden inside Gotham is exposed. The Justice League and the Avengers join forces to raid it, but when they enter the base, they discover that all the core files and equipment have vanished right before their eyes. Even more absurdly, after most of the files have been carted away, a camera suddenly appears in midair and snaps a bunch of pictures of their combined team.
The Dark Knight grits his teeth. "Leto Osborn!"
After taking a pile of photos, Leto makes a happy getaway. Nice! The first photo of the Justice League and the Avengers working together! He'll become a legend in the world of photography!
Folks, even a third-rate villain is still a villain.
He may never do anything useful, to the point that nobody remembers he's a villain too, but when it counts, he still has to do something, or his big boss will take him out.
Leto: Hail Hydra!
Just kidding!
He's received an invitation from the Avengers. He's going to defect! Because...
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man: "Uh, yes, I swear, Leto, I mean, Mr. Osborn, you'll be my official photographer from now on..."
Leto: "What about Parker?"
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man: "... (Takes a deep breath) (Takes off his mask) It's me. I'm Spider-Man."
Leto: "Oh. So what about Parker?"
Not-So-Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, AKA Parker: "... (Silence) (At a loss for words)"
#Who is Peter? Never heard of him#
#Leto: Never underestimate the power of a mask fetish!#
#Dad was the first Green Goblin, big brother was the second Green Goblin. By family tradition, if he doesn't want to become the third Green Goblin, he can only go work for Hydra!#

1. Bottom, paired with Spider-Man.
2. The protagonist treats photographing superheroes like birdwatching, eager to capture every shot, but has no interest whatsoever in the secret identities behind their superhero costumes.
3. The protagonist joined Hydra because he was going through a rebellious phase when he was young. Once he grew out of it, he wanted to find a chance to escape, and maybe switch sides and bring them down while he was at it.
