The Unreliable Alligator Family

A little crocodile who always thought he was an orphan finally welcomed home his two dads, who had been away on a mission for years and had survived against all odds.

His two dads were terrible cooks. They couldn't even make tasty formula, let alone crocodile-shaped cookies and little cakes, and they didn't know how to tell bedtime stories.

That's okay. The baby can do all that.

His two dads couldn't do housework or farm, and they couldn't help the little crocodile with his arts and crafts homework. They often argued for ages over the smallest things, then shut themselves in a room for half the day.

But the little crocodile was still very happy, because now, just like all the other kids in his kindergarten class, he had a dad.

Four years ago, Di Huai and Di Yao were assigned a mission with only a 5% survival rate. Before he died, Di Yao wanted to leave his parents a son to remember him by.

But who would agree to marry him, knowing he was about to die? He turned around and met the gaze of a teammate who was just as good as dead.

You're the one!

The two quickly registered their marriage, applied to have an embryo created, then hurried off to carry out their mission.

The absurd thing was that they completed the mission and still survived.

By the time they returned, having escaped death, their son was already three years old.

After spending four years together on the mission and four years living together, the two grown men could no longer stand the sight of each other.

There was no way they could just muddle through married life. They had to get divorced!

But that raised a question.

They only had one son, so who would get custody?

[Interstellar beastfolk story. The main characters are the Di crocodile family. It's mainly about everyday adventures on different planets, featuring all kinds of strange plants, animals, and species, with some farming and raising a little crocodile on the side.]
