Farming in a World of Overlapping Realities

Coming soon: After Becoming an Octopus. After turning into an octopus, he embarks on fantastical adventures in the deep sea, grows seaweed, and falls in love along the way. Find my completed novel, Growing Crops, Petting Cats, and Raising Cubs. After turning into a snail, he grows tiny snails and pets cats in another world, embarking on an adventure of farming across a strange continent. Eight years later, Lin Ze returned to Whale Bay. After his grandfather's funeral, Jun Yan, who claimed to be an investigator for the Marine Life Protection Association, showed up with a copy of an award-winning children's drawing from fourteen years ago. He wanted to know where the extinct creature depicted in it could be found. Lin Ze had no idea what the drawing was and insisted: Impossible! It doesn't exist! It wasn't me! (Three denials in a row.) After sending the handsome but clearly addled man on his way, Lin Ze found the original award-winning drawing in his old house the very next day. Remembering how emphatically he had denied everything just days earlier, Lin Ze said, "..." His face was burning with embarrassment. After a car accident indirectly cost him his job, Lin Ze stayed in Whale Bay to recover. His housemate was Mr. Jun Yan, a (fake) investigator for the Marine Life Protection Association and his (real) lifesaver. As an unemployed and penniless man, Lin Ze felt that supporting two people was a lot of pressure. Perhaps his luck was finally turning around. Lin Ze was taken by a whale named Blue into a fantastical world, where he discovered that special crops could be grown in the overlapping region between the two worlds. These crops were popular among humans with special abilities and creatures from the spirit realm. At once, he found the perfect way to get rich: farming! [Note] 1.
