While sorting through my files recently, I discovered that I'd once written a sequel fanfic about Muran. I've read plenty of angsty stories, but after Bound, Muran was another novel I couldn't stop thinking about for a long time. It's not that the writing was especially good, and the plot was an old-school, tried-and-true formula, but somehow it's exactly my thing #(giggles behind hand). I love stories that fill every corner of life with angst, and Muran was just that kind. I ended up crying while reading it in the middle of the night.
There's one scene I still remember to this day: the part where someone eats hot pot alone. That may be why I wrote a sequel. And that line, "If there really are gods, if there really is another life, give me a family." It must have broken the hearts of countless angst-loving readers.
A self-indulgent creation, just for fun and to give myself the ending I wanted.
