My Mermaid Wife Has a Split Personality

[I really can't keep writing this. When the time comes to unlock it, I'll backtrack and add a note.]

Huo Buye is a general of the Empire and a soldier fighting on the front lines.

The Zerg are advancing ferociously, and Huo Buye's troops have suffered devastating losses. Just as it seems the Zerg are about to invade the Empire, Huo Buye's partner, Xie Xinglan, appears.

Xie Xinglan is the last royal of the merfolk. In a full-force attack, he manages to wipe out the Zerg completely.

Huo Buye: "My wife's amazing!"

The very next second, Huo Buye's mighty merfolk wife, whose mental powers have been damaged too severely, develops a split personality.

Huo Buye, whose wife has a split personality, wonders if his wife secretly studied at a film academy.

Sometimes his wife acts like a domineering CEO, hooking a finger under Huo Buye's chin and saying, "You can't escape my grasp, man!"

Other times, his wife is so weak he couldn't hurt a fly, biting his lip and whining at him.

But none of that compares to what really torments Huo Buye: his wife thinks he's a female merfolk and insists on laying eggs!

Huo Buye: "Honey, get a grip! Male merfolk can't lay eggs!"

Coming soon: Those Years I Ran a University for Nonhumans

Wen Ming graduated straight into unemployment. After trying and disliking a slew of jobs, he was about to pack his bags and go home to live off his parents when a job with a seven-figure annual salary came his way: university president.

There was just one catch: he had to establish the university first.

And the university had to admit nonhumans.

Including, but not limited to, monsters, demons, and ghosts.

Wen Ming: "I think this job might be a little stressful."

But the sponsor says money is no object.

And so the university for nonhumans opens its doors. The students can be unruly at times. They attack Wen Ming, their president, prank their instructors, and even eat their classmates. But none of that is a big deal, and Wen Ming keeps the school running smoothly.

Later, someone interviews Wen Ming and asks how he managed to keep a whole crowd of nonhumans in line.

Wen Ming smiles. "By winning them over with virtue (martial virtue), and convincing them with reason (physical force). After all, that's our school's founding principle."
