A Washed-Up Actor's Supporting Role on a Dating Show

This is my first novel, and there are plenty of rough spots. My darlings, please read with caution~

Lin Zi'an's "graduation thesis" gets blown away by a gust of wind. The shock is too much for him, and he dies of a heart attack. He closes his eyes, opens them, and transmigrates into a book.

The original owner is a no-name celebrity, and after courting death by picking on the protagonist bottom, he's eventually targeted by the protagonist top and meets a tragic end.

As luck would have it, not long after Lin Zi'an transmigrates, he has to join a romance variety show featuring both the protagonist top and bottom. How can he survive this huge bloodbath?

Being a nonentity won't work, so he'll have to cling to the leg of Gu Xiangzhi, a big star the original owner had been riding on the coattails of.

A highly anticipated farming-themed romance show begins filming. The audience is there for the drama, the anti-fans are on the attack, and the shippers are shipping couples. Meanwhile, Lin Zi'an is stuck in a bloodbath, fighting desperately to survive.

With the show almost over, one jealous man, fed up with the whole internet trying to steal his wife, holds him and kisses him repeatedly in front of the cameras. "Mine. Don't even think about it."

1. This isn't a typical farming novel. There'll be some rural elements in the romance show, so feel free to skip if that's not your thing.

2. This isn't a bidding war for the love interest. The top is Teacher Gu.

After transmigrating, Mu Yao becomes a plump pallas's cat, solid meat beneath all that fur.

Pallas's cats eat meat, and in the wild, he has to hunt. With his world-weary face, Mu Yao looks as if he's saying, I'm super fierce. But when he sees prey, his legs go weak.

Mu Yao: There's no way I can catch anything QAQ.

After surviving for a few days by scavenging scraps from large animals, Mu Yao suddenly wanders into an estate. He bravely sneaks in and discovers the dogs there eat steak. What a waste of good food!!

He doesn't realize that the "dog" is actually a hunting dog.

When the dog isn't looking, he snatches the steak. Before he knows it, someone grabs him by the scruff of his neck. Mu Yao kicks and twists, but can't get free. He hisses and looks fierce, until the hands turn him around and he comes face-to-face with a very handsome man.

"A pallas's cat?" The man holds Mu Yao up and looks at him. "How did you get into the estate?"

Mu Yao is sweating buckets and doesn't dare move.

Later, the man calls the animal protection association. When he learns pallas's cats are rare, he adopts Mu Yao and gives him a home at the estate.

Mu Yao is so grateful to his new master. He's his benefactor!!! He'll never have to worry about food and drink again

Before he can celebrate for long, one morning Mu Yao wakes up after getting used to sleeping in his master's bed, only to discover he's turned back into a human.

His master stands beside the bed, looking at him with a complicated expression. "You're a Guide?"

Mu Yao: "Huh?"

Wasn't I supposed to be a pallas's cat?

Vilik's mental domain has developed a problem, so the royal family sends him back to his estate to recover. Then he suddenly finds a strange pallas's cat.

Everyone says pallas's cats are fierce beasts, but his cat doesn't seem to know how to hunt. It's also timid and cowardly.

That won't do. Now that it's part of the Ashte family, it should at least learn how to hunt.

As its owner, whenever Vilik has free time, he teaches his little pallas's cat how to hunt. But every time, his little cat gets out of it by acting cute and begging for affection.

While Vilik is recovering at the estate, his mental domain heals quickly. The doctor praises his strong healing ability. Only Vilik finds it strange. The one thing he can trace it to is the feeling, every night, of a little tentacle tickling inside his sea of consciousness.

He can't find out anything. Then one day, the little pallas's cat who loves climbing into his bed turns into a human.

It turns out pallas's cats are juvenile beastfolk, and this one is also a little Guide.
