The Money-Hungry Chubby Orange Cat’s Brokerage Career in the ’90s

[The Money-Mad Cat's Road to Becoming a Broker in the 1990s]

"Murder! Murder!"

The massacre of a family of five that had rocked Northern Province was solved within seven days. After their interview, the task force rushed back to the office like the wind.

An orange tabby with a fluffy crossbody bag lay on their desk, grooming herself. When she saw them arrive, she raised her right paw and meowed, "Meow~"

Consulting fees, informant fees, guiding fees, hush money. Settle up, folks.

She rejected their grubby hands reaching out to her. Qian Dongdong glared furiously with her cat face. This cat broker sells her services, not herself, you bastards!

After earning another ten yuan, Qian Dongdong hopped into the cat bed she'd picked out. The owner of this place was fierce and almost never home. All the neighbors were afraid of him.

She wasn't. Cats feared nothing.

That was until Qin Hengjiang, who didn't live there but still got the utility bills every month, came home and lay beneath the bed to peek out. He came face-to-face with the cat.

Qian Dongdong charged over and slapped him from both sides. What kind of thief steals a cat's hard-earned money? Have you no shame!

Qin Hengjiang, who'd been beaten up by a cat in his own home and hadn't been able to fight back: ?

This is too much. It's my house!
