The Hilichurl's Rise as an Original Gotham Monster [Western Crossover]

One day, a Hilichurl transmigrated.

And so, in a shadowy corner of Gotham, a monster base sprang up from the ground.

The base was led by a strangely dressed person wearing a mask painted with peculiar patterns. Waving a wooden stick, he danced a wild, ferocious dance.

From then on, superheroes and supervillains all over the world were plunged into misery.

A hill-sized Hydro Slime blew bubbles,

A three-story-tall Blazing Tree spat fireballs,

Elusive Rifthounds spun around in circles,

And Chicken Bro, the Jadeplume Terrorshroom, smashed reinforced concrete with a single headbutt...

Watching the monster base gradually take shape, Julius was so happy he wanted to dance in celebration.

The only problem was that an elusive, pitch-black nocturnal creature kept giving him trouble.

Julius kept putting up with it for the sake of his rich old dad, but the black creature kept pushing its luck.

One day, Julius finally snapped.

He rushed up to his old dad and, in halting but firm words, told him to stop funding the black creature.

Bruce "Old Dad" Wayne, AKA a certain nocturnal creature: "...??!"

As a certain nocturnal creature from the order Chiroptera, Bruce had been irritable lately. A bunch of unknown creatures were running wild all over his Gotham, dancing right on his control-freak hot buttons.

And as a father, Bruce had been troubled lately too. His new youngest son was frail, pitiful, and clingy, though at least the boy was cute and well-behaved.

Bruce looked after his youngest son by day and hunted criminals around Gotham by night.

His dark circles kept growing, and every so often he also had to spend energy maintaining his playboy persona.

Watching his health deteriorate day by day (not really), Bruce could take no more.

Just as he was about to make a big move, his frail, pitiful, helpless youngest son suddenly jumped out and told him not to fund the black creature.

AKA the real black creature, Bruce, was stunned.

"You spend all day catching thieves, but who knew one was right here at home?"

And just like that, the cute, obedient, lovable youngest son Bruce had known was gone for good. The Bat-Family's famously rebellious son had returned.

In response, the hardworking Wayne family butler said, "I knew it...!"

Julius's rebellious antics included, but weren't limited to, teaming up with Red Hood, dancing on the roof of Arkham's talent academy... and kidnapping an alien to be his boyfriend!

One day.

At a superhero gathering, everyone chatted and gossiped.

Everyone knew that Big Bat and Big Blue had been on "friendly" terms before founding the Justice League: one would punch the other, and the other would smash a chunk of Kryptonite into his head.

So everyone remarked on how they never expected the great Bat's battle with a Kryptonian to end with them becoming the best of partners.

The black creature, who usually hated gatherings but always attended anyway, leaned against the wall with his arms crossed and said nothing.

The gathering was full of laughter and good cheer.

That is, until Thor, the guy with the hammer, accidentally smashed through a wall and exposed a couple sneaking around on a date, holding hands.

Every superhero in the room wore a stunned expression: Superman had seduced Batman's son!!!

Batman remained expressionless and silently pulled out some Kryptonite.

The next day's headline: "Gotham's Knight Battles the God Among Men, Kryptonian Dies!" (Not really.)

-

Pairing: Superman. They get together as adults.

The story's timeline gets jumbled for plot reasons, so don't read too much into it.

The protagonist is a Bat-kid.

The game's System borrows heavily from Genshin Impact's Daily Commissions, World Quests, and wish mechanics, but the characters are replaced with monsters.

The monsters don't include types like the Abyss Order, Treasure Hoarders, or Eremites. The selection is mainly monsters, and the protagonist is the only Hilichurl.

Upcoming: [Western Crossover] I'll Conquer the Infinite Worlds with My Superhero Secret Identities

Blurb: Adrien was a hardcore superhero fan. His lifelong dream was to break through the fourth wall.

One day, he accidentally got dragged into an infinite game world.

With no strength to lift a finger, hopeless at exams, and possessing nothing but a pretty face, he nearly died on the spot.

Luckily, his golden finger came through. His dream of breaking through the fourth wall could actually come true in the infinite world.

In a paranormal instance, ghosts and monsters ran rampant.

Facing identity cards for a Temple Guardian and a Dark Knight, Adrien had a 50% chance of drawing the Dark Knight.

Adrien: ???

In a Cthulhu instance, the Old Gods descended.

Facing identity cards for the Dark Knight and the God Among Men, Adrien had a 50% chance of drawing the God Among Men.

Adrien: ???

In a cyberpunk instance, a crisis of intelligent machines broke out.

Facing identity cards for the Iron Can and America's Conscience, Adrien had a 50% chance of drawing America's Conscience.

Adrien: ???

Adrien's luck was always pretty bad, but thanks to how powerful the superheroes themselves were, hitching a ride on their coattails was a breeze.

And so, a "transforming" streamer appeared in the live broadcasts of the infinite instances.

In the paranormal instance, the Dark Knight had no special abilities, but with nothing but a grappling hook, he led the ghosts and monsters on a merry chase until they were practically bowing to him.

In the Cthulhu instance, the God Among Men dropped from the sky, smashed through the earth's surface, and tore an Old God apart with his bare hands. No one could tell which of them was more terrifying, and the whole audience was in an uproar.

In the cyberpunk instance, America's Conscience went toe-to-toe with mechanical androids. One swing of his shield took down a squad of pursuers, and he led the people in firing the first shot of the resistance.

Adrien, a genuine deadweight nobody, actually conquered the infinite world thanks to his superhero secret identities.

Adrien's response: Can't be helped. That's just what being powerful looks like.jpg

Upcoming: Becoming the Chosen Prodigy of the Cultivation World, Then Returning to My Old Life

Blurb: After Song Huaqing became the new generation's chosen prodigy in the cultivation world, he returned to his old life while pursuing a demon dragon.

On the day he arrived, he failed to distinguish an illusion from reality and exposed himself on the spot.

A video of him flying through the air on his sword went viral across the country and even spread overseas.

People across China exclaimed, "So the secret that we can cultivate immortality is out?"

With no other choice, Song Huaqing reported everything to the government.

It was both to calm the public uproar and to continue searching for the demon dragon.

The demon dragon fed on faith. It survived by granting its followers' wishes, then nourished itself by stirring up their desires and evil thoughts.

The government's Special Incident Investigation Bureau was established.

At a meeting, Song Huaqing propped his face up with one hand and analyzed the situation. "The demon dragon is divided, and there are plenty of breeding grounds that can nourish it... pyramid schemes, capitalists... and the entertainment industry..."

And so began Song Huaqing's unusual path to fame.

The police in a certain city cracked a major pyramid scheme case, and it turned out a famous philanthropist was the scheme's ringleader. Netizens spotted Song Huaqing in the corner of a news report;

A well-known executive at a publicly traded company was exposed for a shocking case of worker exploitation. Netizens spotted Song Huaqing again in a blurry video of capitalists being strung up from lampposts;

After that, Song Huaqing traveled across the country. Wherever he went, a shocking case would come to light.

The back taxes collected when celebrities in the entertainment industry were exposed for scandals alone were enough to build several more aircraft carriers.

Netizens affectionately called him: the entertainment world's number-one law-and-order influencer and crime-catching ace, the nation's own Conan with a mobile silver handcuff...

In response, Immortal Master Song Huaqing said, "I just want to cultivate immortality!"

*Although there is no CP, the male protagonist is attracted to men. Don't ask why. It's because it matters to the plot.

Core message: Uphold the mission of love and peace.
