[Western Crossover] Hero Simulator, but the Superheroes Turn Evil

In the fifth year of the Injustice League's rule over Earth, the High Commander vanished.

The missing Kal-El unexpectedly transmigrated to another world.

It was a world where humans, elves, dwarves, and demons lived side by side.

The 67th year after the death of the Hero Himmel.

The great mage Frieren found an elven boy named Lewin and took him as her apprentice.

The 77th year after the death of the Hero Himmel.

An elven youth named Lewin found Kal and recruited him as the warrior in his adventuring party.

Lewin and Kal shared a goal: they were heading for the heavenly realm said to lie somewhere on this continent.

Lewin had a secret: he wasn't from this world, and he needed the goddess of this land to help him return to his own.

Kal had a secret too: he wasn't from this world either. He intended to destroy the goddess who held him back, then return to his own world.

One wanted to ask the goddess for help; the other wanted to destroy her.

Neither spoke of it, but both were headed for the same destination: the heavenly realm, where they would find the goddess.

And so, in the 78th year after the death of the Hero Himmel, an elf from another world and a Kryptonian from another world set out on a journey together.

Five years later, in the 83rd year after the death of the Hero Himmel.

The Injustice League's High Commander finally returned to Earth. He had gone back to before the tragedy and changed everything.

His parents had never died, Metropolis had never been destroyed, and he was still Earth's god among men. But the elf who had belonged to him was gone without a trace.

In the 83rd year after the death of the Hero Himmel, Lewin finally returned to his own world.

His hometown was just as it had always been:

His mother was gentle and loving, his father was a strong man, his eldest brother was still brawny, and his second brother still loved his schemes.

The only change was that his father had gotten angry and banished his eldest brother to Midgard, the legendary place where not even birds bothered to shit.

Lewin went to Midgard, also known as Earth, hoping to laugh at his big brother's misfortune and mess up his second brother's schemes.

One minute after landing on Earth.

A red cape floated across the sky. Lewin glanced up. It looked kind of familiar.

One day after landing on Earth.

A TV in a remote town was broadcasting live as Earth's protector rescued people during a volcanic eruption. That vivid red cape remained spotless amid the scorching lava.

Lewin: Huh??? Isn't that my dead ex-boyfriend?

Clark, with puppy-dog eyes: I'm not dead (looking utterly aggrieved). Wait, how did I become your ex-boyfriend?

Thesis: "Even without that sword, he still saved the world."
