All the Kids I Raise Are Game Bosses

Jiang Wu is a streamer who claims there's no game he can't beat. After clearing yet another game recommended by his fans, the chat urges him to try Monster Era, a game no one has beaten lately.

Monster Era is a role-playing game. No matter what character players choose, they can only get a bad ending. The more they fail, the more determined they get, cursing all the while as they sink deeper into the game.

Just as unwilling to give up, Jiang Wu downloads the game and is randomly assigned the caretaker role. He has to feed the test subjects at the base on schedule.

The test subjects are also known as pollutants. They look terrifying, each one more sanity-draining than the last, and their favorability is a blood-red -100. The viewers all reckon the streamer is doomed this time, but then they see:

The sea urchin covered in eyes is soothed by the streamer with a piece of candy;

The black tiger with flames burning on its body lies down and exposes its soft belly so the streamer can pet it;

An unknown creature with countless tentacles coils them into a ring for the streamer to play with;

Is this even the same game we're playing?!

Jiang Wu has a blast in the game, hugging one creature today and rubbing another tomorrow. He spends a fortune raising the game's bizarre test subjects until they're sleek and glossy.

Then he gets into a car accident. After being unconscious for three months, Jiang Wu wakes to find the world completely changed. Monster Era has merged with reality, and the pollutants from the game are invading the world. The test subjects he raised have become terrifying beings that ordinary people can't fight. They've claimed territory as their own, and are searching the world for his secret identity.
