Port Mafia Boss Career Simulator

Shi Yan discovers an obscure game. Its graphics look gorgeous, and its introduction sounds impressive. The game is called "Boss Career Simulator."

[Start with a city, and choose one of three vacant boss positions.]

[A. The overworked boss of the Special Abilities Bureau B. The ruthless boss of the Port Mafia C. The invisible boss of the Armed Detective Agency]

The other two options sound completely lacking in authority, so he decisively chooses the Port Mafia, which sounds so imposing he has no idea what it means.

Meanwhile, the Port Mafia's ailing old boss suddenly sits bolt upright on his deathbed, giving Doctor Mori, who had been planning to usurp him, quite a fright. Everything was ready, and yet the old boss, who was supposed to die, suddenly starts writhing on the bed like a piece of seaweed right in front of them.

Soon, Doctor Mori realizes this is only the beginning. One bizarre incident after another follows. The old boss suddenly starts changing appearance every day, and is even ruthlessly penny-pinching and utterly unscrupulous. Doctor Mori is left marveling at the extent to which he exploits his people.

As he explores, Shi Yan discovers that the game has many hidden features. For example, putting the two boys known as Double Black together can greatly improve work efficiency, but their mood levels also plummet. Just add Doctor Mori, and the boys' moods will drop less often, allowing them to get even more work done.

The game also triggers random events from time to time. It's so much fun, the perfect way to kill time.

[How do you respond to a potential enemy's probing?]

[A. Send someone off to marry into their family. From now on, what's yours is mine, and what's mine is still mine. B. Strike first and catch them off guard. C. An obtuse angle.]

[Note] This is the initial draft of the blurb. It will be refined and revised when the novel begins, but the core gimmick will remain unchanged.
