Lin Ze'an has everything going for him: top university, top grades, and top looks. The only thing wrong with him is that he's rebellious.

So rebellious that instead of following a nice, "conventional" path in life, he insists on chasing his dream of becoming an actor.

On his very first day pursuing that dream, he runs into Gu Chengxiao, the actor with the most awards, the most fans, and the least warmth in the industry.

Lin Ze'an can't stand Gu Chengxiao's cold demeanor.

He has no intention of getting involved with him.

But then he's bound to a System and forced to complete tasks related to the actor.

Task 1: Bring the actor milk tea.

Reward: One audition opportunity.

Hmm, a good deal.

Task 10: Tie the actor's tie.

Reward: One competitive acting variety show.

Hmm, acceptable.

Task N: Kiss the actor once.

Reward: One award-winning movie.

Hmm, huh?????

Lin Ze'an finally realizes something is off. After investigating, he takes the System to confront the actor.

The moment he presents the evidence, Gu Chengxiao's eyes turn red.

"I'm sorry."

"I never meant to deceive you."

"But I really do like you..."

"Can you forgive me, Xiao Ze..."

Seeing the actor cry makes Lin Ze'an's heart soften.

He hurries over to comfort him.

And then.

The next day, Lin Ze'an wakes up in Gu Chengxiao's bed, pressing a hand to his aching lower back.

...Wait, shouldn't I be the one crying?!
