I Only Like Your Popularity

The unlucky Gu Mengxian, whose family was ruined and whose loved ones were gone, was reborn one year before his family went bankrupt.

After being reborn, he decided to make money the right way so he could prevent another bankruptcy and the tragedy that came with it.

His plan: Start a fan account for Ye Hengfeng, who was still a nobody at the time but would become a top-tier star in the future. Once Ye made it big, he'd sell merchandise and rake in the cash!

To achieve this grand goal, Gu Mengxian gave it his all.

When Ye Hengfeng had no fans, he'd repost on Weibo and boost his stats until Ye finally became a known name in the entertainment industry.

When Ye Hengfeng appeared on variety shows, he'd organize fan support and send gifts, asking the senior castmates to look after their Ye Hengfeng and help him get more opportunities.

When Ye Hengfeng was attacked online, he'd write posts to set the record straight, defending the best Ye Hengfeng in the whole world.

In short, no one could stop Ye Hengfeng from becoming famous.

And no one could stand in the way of his money-making plans!!!

At last, thanks to Gu Mengxian's tireless efforts, Ye Hengfeng won that year's Rising Star Award and became wildly popular.

Just as Gu Mengxian was about to put up a link to sell merchandise, he was bundled into an Aston Martin.

When he got out, he saw Ye Hengfeng holding a huge bouquet of roses, dressed in a sharp suit, with the city lights behind him. "You've been looking forward to this day for a long time, haven't you?"

Ye Hengfeng is the only son of a family ranked among the country's ten richest.

He loved performing so much that he defied his family's wishes and joined the entertainment industry.

If he couldn't win the Rising Star Award and make it big within a year, he'd have to leave the industry with tears in his eyes and take over the family business.

To make his entertainment career more difficult, his family forbade all major entertainment companies from signing him.

He had to find some obscure company on his own, and how far he could get depended entirely on him.

Ye Hengfeng wasn't worried.

But before he could even get started, some little fan appeared out of nowhere and cared more about his career than his own.

Watching him work so hard, Ye Hengfeng immediately got it: this little fan must have a crush on him!

Gu Mengxian: "Get a grip. I only like your popularity!!!"
