The Celestial Team Captain Is Three and a Half

Not-So-Serious Blurb: What happens when the leader of a boy band suddenly turns into a three-and-a-half-year-old toddler?

A story about nursing a top boy band back to health after it teeters on the brink of flopping.

Serious Blurb:

Land is a hopelessly obscure boy band that no one can seem to save.

Two years after their debut, they've released one flop after another, the members are growing distant, and they're about to be eliminated from a group competition show.

Just as their company is preparing to disband them,

Song Qingyuan, Land's all-around ace leader, who excels at both singing and dancing, suddenly turns into a three-and-a-half-year-old child.

The production team thought the situation was simply too disastrous to watch.

Their ratings were already doomed, and now the leader of one of the groups had turned into a little kid. Could things get any worse?

They gritted their teeth, finished filming, and aired the show. To their surprise, the view count exploded.

Land backstage at practice:

Comments: [Hahaha, it's so funny watching a little kid sternly scold his bandmates.]

Land's stage performance:

Comments: [Ahhh, a performance with a little kid is so cute! My heart has melted!]

One show brought Land's popularity back from the dead.

After that, variety show offers came pouring in.

Song Qingyuan brought his bandmates on a restaurant variety show. The other restaurants were nearly empty, while his was packed with customers.

Customer: "I don't even care about eating. I just want a photo with the owner. Little angel, you're so cute!"

Song Qingyuan took his bandmates on a laid-back variety show where they hosted guests.

Famous directors, wealthy young heirs, award-winning actors and actresses all fought for the chance to visit.

Guest: "We'll do all the work, but I'm the only one who gets to eat the tangyuan Song Song made himself tonight!"

Thanks to Song Qingyuan's hard work, Land went from strength to strength, scoring countless magazine covers, luxury brand ambassadorships, and year-end awards.

They became an undisputed top group in China's entertainment industry.

Everyone thought it would be just fine if Song Qingyuan stayed three years old forever.

Only Ye Huaichen, the band's lead singer and a top young heir from a prominent family, thought otherwise. Holding the sleeping Song Qingyuan, he gritted his teeth. "This is not fine at all! Who turns into a kid the day after confessing their feelings?"

A career-focused story, a band-bond story, and a group-pampering story. The romance isn't very prominent.
