[Good Girl x Ruthless Troublemaker / Doctor x Photographer]
1.
Chi An was flamboyant, carefree, and rebellious, a celebrated figure at school.
Li Wu, meanwhile, was seen by everyone as a sweet, timid little stutterer who was easy to bully.
Yet the two of them once shared an unforgettable connection.
As dusk fell, Chi An leaned lazily against the wall, grinning wickedly. "You've been following me all this way. Want to come home with me?"
Li Wu stopped in her tracks, startled. After a long moment, she finally worked up the courage to offer him a bandage. "Your hand is blee-bleeding. Here."
For once, Chi An was caught off guard for a second. Then he glanced indifferently at the scraped knuckles he'd gotten in a fight and said coldly, "I don't need it."
2.
Chi An asked Li Wu why she liked him.
She revealed a faint dimple. "Because you're a good person."
Chi An gave a self-mocking laugh. He wasn't good at all. His disciplinary notice was still posted on the school's bulletin board.
Li Wu would always remember that day.
Someone mocked her mother for being deaf and mute, and made fun of her for being a little stutterer. Chi An happened to be passing by and hurled the basketball in his hands hard at the group.
"What's so funny? Tell me, too."
He was smiling, but his eyes were cold. Everyone there laughed awkwardly, and no one dared mock her again.
3.
For a long time, Chi An thought the whole world was rotten, until he met Li Wu.
Li Wu was the most precious gift heaven had ever given him.
Later, Chi An knelt with his back straight in the study, blood slowly dripping from the gash on his forehead onto the floor.
He said only one thing, from beginning to end: "Whatever my relationship with Wu Wu is, I only want her!"
But in the end, he still lost Li Wu.
They met again in the hospital emergency room.
His assistant watched as his usually aloof, celibate boss trembled and pulled the doctor treating his wound tightly into his arms.
"Wu Wu, how could you leave me..."
His voice was hoarse with despair, crazed and vulnerable.
