One day, Xia Fan was lying across Gu Ci's lap, playing on her phone.
"The internet says the best order for a relationship is dating, meeting the parents, proposing, getting engaged, getting married, then getting pregnant. By that logic, we did it all wrong."
Gu Ci put down the difficult academic book in his hands and pinched Xia Fan's soft cheek. "How did we do it wrong? Did I get you pregnant before we were married?"
Xia Fan: "But we met each other's parents first, and only then started dating, got engaged, and got married."
"That's because my family lives right across from yours." Gu Ci took his wife's phone and kissed her red lips before she could say anything else.
After a long while, the coolness in Gu Ci's voice turned heated
"Don't listen to what people online say. We are what love is supposed to look like."
