Moriya, the protagonist of the anime The Daily Life of an Amnesiac Detective, lost access to her ability to play multiple roles after several of her works flopped. What she regrets most is agreeing to the System's suggestion to request outside assistance.

The straightforward, easygoing script in her hands was unanimously deemed by the outside helpers to be far too bland and uneventful.

And so...

The deranged criminal group: "You are our revelation, our faith, the muse of our death-filled works. With love and flowers, we swear to follow your gaze forever, for billions of years."

The chaos-causing group: "Worried about how to kill someone? Having trouble taking down a rival organization? Anxious that no one appreciates you? Come on! 'Moriya' welcomes you to join us!"

The literary and artistic group: "Your ideals, your beliefs, everything you have done for this society and sacrificed for this world will live on forever in another form. You deserve to be remembered and praised by all, your name immortalized."

The slacking-off office workers: "We're duty-bound to provide the organization with ample operating funds!"

The just-live-your-life group: Former secretary-general to a member of parliament with access to all sorts of classified information / a high-ranking official's son / a distillery employee / a former intelligence agency chief. They all say they just want to enjoy life, thank you very much.

With several different scripts and secret identities forced on her, Moriya clings tightly to her amnesiac detective secret identity and tells the eager Conan crowd:

She's just an utterly ordinary amnesiac detective.

Faced with the detectives' doubts, the System flicks away some ash and falls into a sort of reverie.

"Some people want her dead, some want her alive, and some want to make her wish she were dead."
