Zi Wu was forced to take part in a game. The Main God told her that all she had to do was travel to various worlds, try to survive, and kill the outsiders. The prize for winning was its unlimited, unconditional assistance.
The Main God also said she would be sent to worlds on the brink of destruction. She could save a world by sacrificing herself, but that would mean losing the game. The only way to earn the reward was to win every round.
The superheroes were forced to take part in a game too. According to the Main God, the game’s host, they had to travel separately to various worlds and make the person it designated as the only one who could do it save each world if they wanted to return home.
And so...
Zi Wu discovered that the outsiders in every world she visited cared even more about the world’s survival than its natives did, and spent every day coming up with new ways to persuade her to save it.
Zi Wu, who didn’t want to kill anyone or die, and was happy to get by for as long as she could, said:
