To earn the final mission reward, the villainess Tang En has to secretly do good deeds to gain gratitude points and unlock more villain skills, helping her become a big shot in the villain world, all while taking great pains to avoid getting caught.

-- It doesn't work. She still ends up holding the Best Newcomer Award and lapsing into deep thought.

Luckily, she dies horribly in front of various superheroes each time, restarting the timeline and becoming a squeaky-clean villain all over again.

Until one day, just after Tang En resets the timeline, the superheroes who should have been her enemies all say:

"This time, I'll protect you."

"I refuse to accept that my existence is built on someone else's sacrifice, especially yours."

"Trust me. We'll live together beneath the blue sky until we're old."

Tang En: Thanks, but no thanks. I'm leaving the group.

Just after Tang En had beaten all sorts of villains into submission and was about to reveal that she was a villain herself, she ran into another dark-clad figure.

She said gravely, "Get out of my Gotham."

Gotham's new Batman: "..."

One year later.

She sits on the throne, bewildered.
