Upcoming novel: A Green Plum Can anything be more miserable than waking up to find the world has ended? Tang Chaoyu can tell you what: walking downstairs only to be crushed to death by a neighbor jumping from the building above. Could it get any worse after you're already dead? Tang Chaoyu can tell you what: getting trapped in a loop. She's died several times already, and at this rate, she'll die again. And again. She goes from terrified and helpless, to numb and resigned, then finally to throwing caution to the wind. At last, she finds a reason to keep going: she meets Song Wan Feng. Maybe heaven has put her through all this just so she could meet Song Wan Feng, so Song Wan Feng wouldn't have to suffer so much. Until one day, her world suddenly comes crashing down. She really did come for Song Wan Feng, but not to make her life a little better. In Song Wan Feng's eyes, this world deserved to be destroyed a long time ago. The demons mingling among the living are far more disgusting than the zombies. She once thought there could be no exceptions, until she met Tang Chaoyu. Tang Chaoyu tells her, “Our names suit us pretty well: cold rain in the morning, evening wind at night.” The first time, Song Wan Feng scoffs. She always thought there was a clear, foolish innocence about Tang Chaoyu. Later, she realizes it's the childlike purity she'd longed for all along. This filthy world, which should never have existed, can disappear. But Tang Chaoyu cannot. Theme: The purest kindness, the truest sincerity, the most beautiful goodness.
